Product Brief

The active substance of this anti-estrogen oral product is Clomiphene Citrates and the 50mg tablets are generally packaged in a pouch of 20 tablets. Initially it was used for the female ovulation process. Later it was found that this product increases body’s natural testosterone production. So it became a popular choice for the community of strength sports persons at the end of a cycle when testosterone production is low. This product has been found to quite popular in the post cycle period because it stimulates the suppressed natural testosterone level .It is also used for the treatment of male infertility.

Indications

It prevents the estrogen to be active by binding at estrogen receptor sites in target tissues. This product causes the release of the pituitary gonadotropins follicle so the development of follicles in the ovaries takes place. This triggers the pituitary gland to secrete an increased amount of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone.

Dose and cycle

The average dose for the strength sports persons is 100 to 150mg per day for 4 to 6 weeks. In the medical sphere the dose is 50mg per day for 5 days in the case of the female ovulation process. The dose may be extended up to 2 days if pregnancy is not achieved. In the case the recommended dose is exceeded, then stomach pain, nausea, vision problems, vaginal bleeding and rapid weight gain may occur.

Mode of Functioning

It blocks the hormone estrogen from interacting with the pituitary gland. In the case estrogen interacts with the pituitary gland then follicle-stimulating hormone is produced. This leads to decrease in the testosterone level, which in turn reduces sperm production. This product increases the secretion of follicle stimulating hormone so it enables for sperm production. As the product prevents the estrogen factors to be active so the testosterone level increases for sperm production. On the other hand increased level of testosterone enables the muscle tissues to retain sufficient nitrogen. In the process the protein synthesis is accelerated to provide proper muscle growth. This product is effective in the post cycle phase when there is a possibility of estrogen interactions. Such an interaction causes water retention and gain of excess body weight that is not suitable for the strength sports persons.
