Clomiphene Citrate (Clomixyl) is a synthetic non-steroidal drug similar in structure to estrogen. Clomixyl is widely used in post cycle therapy. Having similarity to the estrogen, it can bind to estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus. This effect of Clomiphene Citrate is widely used in the treatment of women with premature ovarian failure and for the induction of ovulation.
